more mystery parts

I have these parts that I do not know what they are for. They may be from my 65 Valiant Convertable or could have come from the 66 Valiant 4 door parts car I have. Any Ideas?

Carpet trim pieces. The hold down the edge of the carpet beside the rear seat.
 
Looks like you have 2 different model pieces there. Not sure which one goes to your car though

I was thinking the same . Will be over at my shop this afternoon and will check that out. I am sure they both came off the convertable but that does not mean they are right.
 
long one 2dr, short one is for a four door?
 
No pieces like that in a '67-up convertible due to the side panel. I suspect early convertibles are the same. Likely from the parts car.
 
In this picture I have just laid the carpets in. Nothing is attached. I see that these trim pieces will start just past the door and go beside the back seat. When I got the car there was almost no carpet or floor for that mater. Should there be a piece like this going under the door or does the carpet just come up to the trim in the picture. If anyone has a picture of a 65 valiant that shows what the carpet looks like under the door it would help.

There is a piece that screws down to hold the carpet edge down. Early A's are different than later A's. On the later cars the sill plate and carpet hold down are one piece. I believe that the piece that is laying on the carpet in the second pic is that piece. You might be to tell where it goes in the first pic.

Thanks, If I can't locate them, I can probably fins something at a carpet shop that will work.

Thanks, Now I can see what I am looking for. I like your upholstery. I think I may have those parts, They were in the trunk when I got the car and I remember putting them in the attic of my shop. Unfortunately the shop is at a property where I have a house I rent out and the tenants seem to have that corona virus so I will not be there for a long time.I was planing to be driving the car soon.It has been 6 years on and off to get it this far.
