Electrician or someone that can

I am TOTALLY not kidding when I say this. Either go to Lowes and buy a book or Google it. I googled it and I got hundreds of hits including videos. I wired a 240 volt sub panel in my garage and run my compressor, powder coating oven and garage heater from it. The heater and oven are operated from plug in receptacles that I wired from the sub panel. The compressor is hard wired and only has three wires going from the sub panel to the compressor (in a flexible plastic conduit, of course). I would not even ty to explain it to you when there are so many sources online with excellent pictures, wiring diagrams and videos available. Also, most 240 volt larger compressors are hard wired. No plug receptacle required. Also, if you do not feel comfortable, have it done. It will be money well spent.
