Full panel or patch?

Hey guys, working on a couple cars. This one happens to relate to a B body. I wanted to get opinions anyway since it dealt with a general question of sheet metal. I have some bad rust on the door lock pillar. Got the new panel and debating whether to patch the original one or just replace the whole panel. Thoughts?
