So turn it counter clockwise right? Right now I’m second guessing every move I’ve made lol


Turn the crank to be at 10° BTDC, then pop the distributor cap off and rotate the distributor so the rotor points to #1 cylinder... Then you should be firing at 10° advanced which is a good place to start with an engine that's been apart and not run for a while...

After it starts, then adjust the timing properly...
