Check out the B3Racingengines.com web site. He has a great explanation there, and he sells the kits. I learned about it from YellowRose, most knowledgeable about our small blocks on FABO.

Will do thanks. What did the kit cost you if you don't mind me askin?

Can't remember exactly but I'm thinking it was around $300.00, but I bought his kit plus the roller rockers and shafts with it.

I've been to B3s web site and read everything but don't see a kit listed anywhere.

Back when I bought mine, I talked to the owner (Mike?) and did everything via phone and email. Great to work with.

Hey It was great meeting you the other day and getting to talk to you. Glad we could help you on the Dart up at work. Looking forward to seeing it get finished.

Took a trip to Bay City Classics today to see the progress on the Dart. The painting is done, working on the final wet sand of the clear coat and stripe installation. Couldn't get really nice pictures since the car is still in the paint booth but it is SHINY and the paint is perfect. These pics don't begin to show how pretty it is.

A little rant for this Monday. Ordered my wheels from Summit - Vision Legend 141 aluminum, 17x8 with 5.25 backspace - on December 1. Still on back order from Vision, now estimated to ship first week of February. Totally unacceptable but what can you do? It's not Summit's fault. When I contacted Vision directly I was told they'd get back to me. That was three weeks ago. Just a heads up to anyone thinking about Vision wheels - check availability first or be prepared to wait.
On a better note, the Dart should be home sometime next week. Got a call last week from Bay City, they were installing the weather stripping, rebuilding the pop out rear window, and polishing the aluminum wheel well trim. Got another call on Friday that they recommend replacing the original windshield due to its condition. Was hoping to save some change here but like Bobby said, why put a 47 year old windshield on a car this beautiful? They're also replacing the windshield trim since mine had a few dings.

Wheels finally arrived today, 9 weeks after I ordered them from Summit. They are beautiful, but 9 weeks? Hoping to get the car back from Bay City Classics next week. Problems with the front and back glass trim is holding it up.

Another trip to bay City Classics today. Their work is complete except for the trim on the windshield and back glass. Waiting on their glass guy to come in and finish it. Getting anxious to get it back home. On a side note, got a call from Royal Silver, the bumper guys, where I'd dropped off the bumpers for chroming. My front bumper had several bad holes rusted in it, didn't show until they finished stripping it. Ended up carrying them the 74 bumper I have that's in really nice shape. Now I'll be looking for some 74 mounting brackets, non-shock absorbing. It's always something on these cars.

Nice build. My 73 340 4 speed Duster is mothballed. One day maybe.

Brought the Dart home from Bay City Classics today. This video does not come close to showcasing the paint and body work they did, and this is not even their show quality paint job. Short list of the work: both quarters, both outer wheel wells, both trunk floor extensions, new tail panel, new front / rear glass with weather strip, new door and window weather strip, complete rebuild of the pop out rear windows, and new front and back glass trim.
I have everything needed to finish the exterior trim and the interior, plus some great looking Vision Legend 141 wheels.

Flashback 1986. I only have a pic or 2 but that's identical to the one I had color scheme wise... Nice...

The original fold down partition was toast. Decided to make a new one out of exterior grade plywood. Next up is the job I'm dreading - installing the one piece plastic headliner. First time for everything.

Since rear wheels and back spacing comes up often, thought I'd post my experience. Might help someone else down the road. I had installed the spring relocation kit that moves the springs in 1/2 inch. Both quarters have been replaced. I went with 17 x 8 Vision wheels with 5.25 backspace. The tires are 255-45 x 17. Once installed, I had about 1/4 inch clearance between the tire and the spring, too close for my comfort. There is about 1.5 - 2 inches between the tire and the outer fender lip. Based on advice from another member, I got some 3/16" spacers. With these spacers there was not enough thread engagement with the lug nuts. I ended up buying longer studs and billet aluminum 3/4 inch spacers. Haven't installed them yet, I'll post my experience when done.

I may be doing the same thing, just to get the tires out close because I like the look. I planned it that way when shortening the diff. It's a lot easier to move them out than in.

In the home stretch now. All interior plastics have been painted with SEM, going from parchment to black. Starting installation of sound damping and carpet in the area between the fold down seat and the trunk divider.

A quick pic of the rear with new bumper, exhaust tips, NOS tail lights, and new trim rings around the lights.

Mocking up the 74 shock mount bumper to my 73 Sport. Using 73 mounts and doing a lot of fab to make it work. A PITA but can't be helped.
