Upside to the pandemic
Well I thought I would tackle some unfinished projects with isolation orders in place.
1. Mig welding...seeing as how I had bought a full bottle of argon mix and regulator months ago i figured i would practice up. Short lived....mastercraft welder i put 1/4 spool of fluxcore thru in past 5 years took a ****. 5 seconds of gas welding and circuit board has went for a crap. Not sure what's wrong, but drive motor for mig wire isnt getting a signal for some reason.
#2 Fix frickin welder!
#3. Bought a new set of stainless windshield trim from a member on here but USPS and Canada Post managed to put a couple wrinkles in a piece.
Got about 80% of wrinkles out so far. Better than what I thought I would get out. To be continued.
#4 Picnic table. Milder weather so I thought I would make a new PT. Got new pt 2×4 then snow for next day dangit!
Brought wood into shop to thaw out. So clamped it to help keep it straight HOPEFULLY! ANY 2x6 pressure treated I've used twists and splits all to ****! Redid posts and railing on deck last year after only being 1 year old.
Put dads compound mitre saw to use.
What's everyone doing project wise?
Anyone know how to test circuit board or relay on welder ?
