Time for 727 rebuild.
Well the 72 Swinger is out of storage. Last summer the transmission started to slip, especially when warm. I plan on having it rebuilt. I am also throwing around the idea of doing it myself. I have never done a 727 but did do my dad's 4L60e. There is a local shop who I like the owner. I am gonna ask him first. I am still working and will continue to because I work at a hospital.
My question is what are suggestions for torque converter? It's a 360 with comp 262 cam. 8.25 with 3.21 gears. 245/45/17 tire. Has a stock converter in it now. Strictly a street car that does see the highway. Looking for recommendations of brand and type. Thanks.
