I tried it with both the electric and the mechanical, fuel pressure gauge reads 7-8 cranking with the mechanical, drops to 5-6 as it’s reving. Electric is pushing a steady 10 psi cranking and “running” , it has a built in regulator so I can turn that down if too much

but if the electric pump was over pumping the carb, wouldn’t the mechanical that’s running at 5 psi fix that issue?
