Are the seat tracks year specific for dart/duster 70 thru 72 .. i sold a pair of buckets with tracks that I believed to be out of a '70 dart, and the guy tells me they don't line up for his '72 duster.
 
No the guy has them. Picture of seats.. I could try to get him to send a picture .. I bought them for my Dart, but sold it before I got to install them. I was told they were out of a '72 Dart

Tracks from what I can see look like F-body.
 
Here are pics of the tracks and seats, the seats just seem to big. Like I said I'm new to A bodies but when I rough fit them theres definitely no room for a center console, and they just seem wrong. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Look you totally took advantage of me on these seats. You cant even keep your story straight from one post to another.

Post #3 . I was told they were out of a 72 Dart.

You may have been a member of this site for ten years but your a RIP off artist and you told me numerous times they were from a 72 Dart. I may be new to this site and A bodies but I've never ripped anybody off, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Were those track pics supplied to you before purchase?
Im no seat expert but can tell that at least one of those tracks is NON A body.
If these were 100% claimed as a body. Integrity comes into question.

Yes they were, and it was discussed numerous time, hence why I'm angry. He wouldnt budge on price cause these had complete tracks and seats were in excellent condition, which they are, but they are not what I was told they were.
 
If you saw the tracks prior to purchase then some of the onus is on u in my opinion. BUT I think the majority of people here recognize the tracks are not a match and 1 of them is NON abody. So the seller should know that.
I always tell people to get a factory service and factory PARTS manual for their vehicle. That way you can become more informed and know which parts crossover between body lines.
You can also post questions here if unsure of anything.
Example 67-9 cudas....all 3 year tail lights will fit but all 3 only line up to the matching year tail panel trim.
Good luck hope you're able to resolve this. Seats look in decent shape. You just need proper tracks I assume?

Thanks. I'm done. I'm putting the Deluxe bench seat back in it and selling the buckets, just not meant to be.

For the record.

The seller refunded me $250 today on his own recognizance, I accept and thank him for the adjustment.
