i switch between regular insurance and storage insurance on my duster
all it takes is one call to my insurance agent and one click on his end to swap it over
I use to do this, until I got a notice from the county clerk, or the state, don't remember for sure, saying that they were going to cancel my plates if I couldn't show that the car was insured. I guess in Colorado having it on "storage" in the off months doesn't count as being insured. Now I just pay it all year, cause these days I'll take it out anytime of year as long as the roads are dry and free from salt/sand.
