So what do you guys use the grease on? Let's hear all the uses.

I just put some new plugs, cap, rotor and wires on my Dakota. I used a little dollop of dielectric in each plug wore connection.

Like the guys said above, perfect for bulkhead connectors!

On our Bell 407 litter door gasket, what is required by Bell helicopter, DC-4 dielectric grease.

On our helicopters, for the ECU pins, they recommend contact enhancer, Stabilant 22. a small bottle with a cap, use a small brush to brush it on the pins. costs about $30-40 per bottle.

Was buying the little Permatex tubes for like 5 bucks and one day at my local Summits I got a big *** tube of it for like 10 bucks

dielectric is non-conductive, Its used mainly to prevent oxygen from corroding the metals. you can use light colored axle grease too, but not moly. IIRC Dodge finally used it in the bulkhead sockets later in the years. We had to use it on all CATV connections but on the outside under a grease boot. We get it in toothpaste sized tubes for comm work.

Well I'll be damned if I don't have a life supply of dielectric grease.

I don't use it on anything. Always found it to turn into a nasty dust after a few years that would require cleaning.
