-
I started to read your thread interesting very interesting you brought a lot of things to the table. My A body (hell boy)
everything you change brings another surprise SURPRISE this is not going to work you dumba$$ thats been my battle with this car 4 years into it not even close to firing the teen that has a lot of goodies in it but the thread is the best must have been in the same time frame growing up The road runners the goats the fast back mustangs I remember you could buy one of the muscle cars for 400 bucks now 25-30 thousand and mine keeps climbing waiting is the hardest part for the money for the time momma does not like me to be in the garage for days but thats what it takes to make her car possible yes we dragged this 1972 with us for 26 years she bought it at 17teen feels like a life time (is running out) but you are absolutly right on putting it together the right way with your own hands the pride that it delivers good like with the Duke my fav was the cowboys north to Alaska and hell boy will not get the best of me

I seem to search this out for another duke read but ??? where is the Captain. Man you have got to write more and pictures would not hurt.
Hope things are fine at the home front? I know how that can stall a project quickly.

Back again, Hope your project is near completion? mine keeps on stalling even though i did get my clutch z bar installed, some other small things still a long way to go. A neighbor came over to barrow a tool and he like what was going on!! guess that will make me spend the money for the new wiring and new air cond/heater box. Funny i just looked at pictures from 2017 and i guess i am making headway. Well hope you are to

Maybe he's busy writing a sequel? :D

Hi, guys...
Nope. No sequel, yet.
The project has stalled, for lack of a better word, due to work and family requirements and a few health issues. I am so far behind on my house upkeep that it has been taking most of my free time, and when I'm finished, I'm just too exhausted to go play with The Duke. He's being very cool about it, though. Trying to psych myself up for another big push in 2019, because eventually this thing needs to get off jack stands and start rolling again. Thanks for checking in on me. I need a good, swift kick in the caboose now and again.

I am in the same boat you might say thought that I would be farther then what i am but when you get going in 19 post away and get her going
as the same with me winter is coming faster then the wind T ake care get him done

Will do. Gonna spend the winter months priming the pump for another big push. At least to get Duke on all fours again...

IWell here it is 2019 and its already flying by. Came here for some more of the duke. Hope al is well? I do know how things work My project has stalled hard if its not money its the time. A number of years ago I and my other half knew we would make more improvements to the home and thats where i hae been/ new entry closet/pantry( did not see that one coming) new ceremic tile and still have a ways to go and can not forget the Dr's visits 4 times in January seems like i'm getting old or older LOL. I get to look at her when I'm working on what I depend on for going to work and back home as I work some 325 mile away seems almost endlessly on the road home (home is where the heart is and of course the wife.) But back to why I am here again looking for that read as I'm working a backshift and 12 hours is a long time and i get to thinking you would do some writing captain K reminiscing of the younger times in life. take care check back so often to see if your not frozen in time as the winter has been ??

I am back was really hoping to read anything. Doing a nightshift run again. Looks like im writing a story of my own here. Later

Wow another month went by faster then you can shack a stick? I always seem to come back here? Are you still kicking? Once again doing the Back shift Work is over rated. But it pays the bills. Well did you start another thread or ???

chiming back into my favorite thread on FABO, cant wait to see this car done. It be a perfect ending to this chapter and a great beginning to the next.

Well it is May already, How time does fly for 2019. I was really hoping to see something on this Thread
but hay what else can you do at 4:45 in the morning. Hope the project is getting closer to being done,
to many other projects to be done before I get the chance to work on my ride (Woman's projects get in the way to many of them going to have to tell her to do them herself LOL) Take care send us SOMETHING.

Looking for words of wisdom from C.K. Here again august already Take care send us SOMETHING.

Your killing me hell it is December coming up on 2020 What is going on??? missing a lot Com on Captn need words of wisdom Later got to wonder if you are still on this earth???

Sh///t its April 1st 2020 now I really have to wonder what going on with the Duke? Will he ride again. I know that I am slowing down but it has been some time since ANYONE has heard a line out of you!! Give us a line if anything to know that your still kicking.

Howdy, fellers! Yup, I'm still kicking, COVID be damned. I have put The Duke completely out of mind except to give him a cursory nod now and again as I walk around his shrouded corpse...and then last week my kid gets me turned on to watching some musclecar restos on the Motor Trend channel and now the damn wheels are grinding again. I know my biggest fault is to stop forward motion, which I am certainly guilty of! Every step, forward OR backward...or even sideways...is motion. And with winter comin' on, it's probably exactly the wrong time of year to start thinking Duke again, but damned if I ain't...I'm really surprised (and a little touched, even!) that some of you are still following a trail (this thread) that's gone cold. Guess I owe you all something, as well as the Duke, who as been so patient and forgiving of my transgressions. So, I will try to map out some sort of a plan and get these seized wheels turning again before I'm too freaking old to go out and tear up some asphalt (ain't happened yet, as anyone who lives in my neighborhood and knows my bikes can attest)
Thanks for sticking with me.
