Only thing about a 73+ K in a 72/ earlier body is IF you have or want to use a factory anti-roll bar for that year. You must use lower arms and anti roll bar to match the year series of the K, or else use an aftermarket bar. You can use an early bar setup on a late K, but not the other way around. This is because the roll bar goes UNDER the K on a 72/ earlier, and THROUGH the inside of the K on a 73/ later. The lower control arms have the tabs in different places for the two series.
There is some argument on whether older or spool mounts are better. I lean towards spool.
