There are several M/T drag radials, Which ones do you prefer? Why those? I bought the ET street SS for the rear as this car will be on street and strip. For the first set, I wanted both capabilities.

To the OP, I have 255/60-15 in my 1973 scamp. room to spare. not sure if I could have gone 275/60-15

E.T. street radials, use them because they're tubeless keep using them because they work great at the track, but they can get very sticky so I have another pair of tires for when I drive on the street(which isn't much!!

I'm in the same circumstance, I've tried 10" wide rims and they just rub the quarter panel, but I heard if I switch to 8" rims they would not rub

What offset/backspacing on the rims? What Diff? I run the 235/60/15 MT drag radials on 15x7 police rims.

This is a build that has not hit the road yet. 3.91. Gears in an 8 3/4 rear. The rear has been shortened to 49 and change so my measurements are not transferable to others. So, the 255s have at least a hands width on both sides. Wheels are 15x8 I believe.
