Looking for a dual exhaust (3-2-1) setup for my ride. Dutra dual type is preferred, but open to others.

Also wanting a 2bbl intake to replace the 1 bbl. They seem to be hard to find.

Open to suggestions as well. I've searched and searched, but everything I'm finding is bank breaking worthy.

Is your 65 equipped with power or manual steering? Makes a difference with headers; not so much with the Dutra Duals.

A one bbl slant intake has the exact same runner size and length as a two bbl.
The only difference is the carb mounting pad. Folks have milled off the one bbl pad and welded on a fabricated two bbl pad. Probably easiest on the cast aluminum intakes, but feasible on any of them.

I hadn't seen that in my searching. Good information to have though. I'll keep this single and use it to practice my aluminum fab skills I guess, thank you.

The AL were cast, kinda hard to weld but possible. If you get a 2bbl intake, try and get the 2bbl kickdown from the same seller. That's the hardest, most important piece of the puzzle to get for an A/T.

Looks like a simple enough fix. Either modifying the existing linkage, building a new one, or installing a cable. Great to know going into it, at least I can have a plan in place.

Thank you for the offer Rug. I'm buying the one from tdemo53. I'm still looking for exhaust though.
