1963 Dodge Dart 270 Convertible for the Wife
i've done a few a bodies , their never real straight to start with . so great job man , and i'm an old school paint/body guy . i could squirt the whole car at once with the older matls , but todays stuff what a pain , squirt jams n engine compartment and the inner trunk and you have to sand it all again to put down the rest of the paint , then prep for the clear . back in the day , clearing a job was extra . not needed to finish the job off . we cleared custom jobs pearls n metalflates and candy jobs . then sanded it and rubbed it to a mirror , and it didn't come peeling off a few years later . just could not resist adding a couple candy jobs in . that blue duster was squirted ten year prior to blueing the wing for my bud . both a bodies had mud from in end to the other , no spots no blems . this candy apply red in all old school matl , and my candy orange was new type matls , red dart new stuff there too . but the duster is old school ppg enamel met with harden , no clear or buff .
