Can any one cross reference these old part numbers? :BangHead:

Any numbers either stamped into or painted on the converter?
I'm thinking that the one that starts with the P, the P preceding the part number may stand for Performance, but I can't be sure.
I have the Challenger/Barracuda restoration guide book(1967-1974) in front of me, and those numbers do not appear with any engine/transmission combination. If you have any photos of the converters themselves, I might be able to help.
Best I can do for now. Be safe all.

MP chassis book info:
Turbo Action 10" 4200
Race A engine 68 and later 904/998/999 non lockup. 340-360 Super Stock and more highly modified small block engines.
Recommended converter for 340/360 12 sec bracket, 4.30 gear, 9x28 slick

Are you saying they both are 10 inch converters for 904/998/999, 4200 stall speed?
I wrote what is in the chassis book. Call Paul at Turbo Action and ask for the info. If you have the serial # even better for info lookup.

Open the box and measure them. I think the 4200 is smaller than 10”. The top box doesn’t look that old. I may have an old m p book around here. I’ll see if I can find it.

For sure this help, thank you very much. The 2768 is a 8 inch 4200 for 904. The 9238 is noted above. This closes the case! Thanks to all. :thankyou::thumbsup:
