1963 Dodge Dart 270 Convertible for the Wife

What a morning... Saying "I have to wait for the fog to lift" is something I am not use to but oh what a morning... the light rain yesterday settled the dust and the fog kept the heat down early and it was dead quiet this morning.... Put the old girl outside.... then pushed the car out :)... Lots of cleaning and wiping again... Hit the places where I patched yesterday and after 3 coat where invisible. Having the owner help keep the car tacked off allowed us to put down the base FLAWLESS not one bug or dirt speck. I am struggling why I can't paint the trunk without tiger striping. I think I will spray another coat of base on it to try to get it better. The hood looks great so i don't get the difference...

We put on one coat of Universal clear and we got a big cloth fuzzy on the drivers door. Plus I was struggling getting the gun set to not orange peel... We decided to call it a day with one coat and that was the right answer. The winds kick up around 11 and they did...
