Is the trunk tiger striping with the clear? You're probably already doing it, but try going side to side 1st coat, and then front to back 2nd coat, then back to side to side 3rd coat. If it still does it....at least you can play tic-tac-toe on it at car shows! Tomorrow is Monday, so I'd call SPI before pulling the trigger again. They are like Farmers Ins....they know a thing or two cause they've seen a thing or 2!
