Agreed , the biggest confusion is caused by the lack of consistancy between regions in how and who they test and how they report the results . Some Provinces here only report after confirming an initial positive with more testing , on March 23 Quebec started reporting the initial positive and our cases skyrocketed , we have been on a regional lockdown with police blockades at entry points and we seem to have actually reduced the curve in areas outside of montreal wher half the numbers come from . The region I am in the Pontiac had 5 cases as of monday night all in a nursing home where the vast majority of cases are turning up , thats in a region larger than some US states . It's a huge hassle but worth it to keep this virus at bay , remember you can't go just by daily numbers you have to look at the weeks as a whole to get an even curve . Good Luck to all .I have a link to video on how to really deal with the financial issues but am not sure where to put it .It will be not surprising to see the rebound of the virus. Isolating to control the spread did only that, for that time period. Once we start to act normal again, it will spread like they didn't want it to in the beginning.
I think there will be many more affected than in this original hit.
thats probably going to be the theme going forward for rural areas like ours , the cases will be centered on places where people are stacked like sardines , prisons and nursing homes .350 cases here in this county, 99 of which are at the Federal Prison. Only 5 in my valley so far (100K + population).
