Pics of early Barracudas

My 1965 Barracuda, bought August 1968 for $1150. Originally Commando 273, 4-speed, rallye suspension, 7 1/4 rear with 3.23 gears, 13 inch wheels, white with black racing stripe and black interior. Blew up the original motor November 1972 right before my ship left for Viet Nam; 340 since spring of 1973. Present short block is 71 block and crank, blueprinted stock rods, TRW forged pistons, put together in 1990. Now with Eddy heads, RPM Air gap, 750 Holley, TTI headers and 2.5 inch X-pipe exhaust, 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 sure grip, replaced original ball and trunion 4-speed with 69 Dart trans but kept my original 3.09 low-gear gearset, 15 x 7 Cragars with 225/60R 15 Comp T/A's, painted Guards Red single stage urethane by me 1991. Mileage is somewhere on the high side of 300,000.
