I've done as much searching as a could and couldnt find my answer.

The spring relocation kit pictured came with the car when I bought it. I've seen somewhere but canr find it anymore that the rear shackle tube goes into the hole already through the frame that I pictured below. However the instruction show to weld the tube to the bottom of the frame rail. Was that a different kit that i saw it going through the frame?

The instructions also show three holes for the front mounting but there are no holes in the provided boxes. Any insight on this?

I've also seen talks about offset shackles. Would that be necessary for to gain even more clearance for wider wheel and tire clearance?

The holes In the front hanger you have to drill. Some brands come with three holes already in it and you choose the height you want depending on which hole you use. Since yours dont have one you can just put it where you want it. I dont understand the instructions with the tube on the bottom that makes no sense to me. Iv always seen it go thru the frame the welded washers around it for added strength

What the ef is that? I made some repairs before that I kinda shook.my head at but knew they wouldn't be dangerous or fail. This is just not caring.

I collect pics of messed up stuff shops did to people's cars.
I said I would have to punch the guy in the face that did that.:D

I did it like BBD site shows. Just be careful using the old brackets with rod to line up everything as some cars were off from the Factory up to 1/4" . I had no issues but Measured,Measured, and Measured ! That was on my Hardtop. My Ragtop is stock but is off a 1/4" .

What's everyone doing with the E-Brake cable brackets? I'm just measuring everything up to start the install and the cable bracket is tacked on to the section that will be removed. I'm assuming the bracket gets re-attached to the new box?
