Well during all of the Corona virus situation I've been getting much more time to work on Pig Pen. It's been a great stress relief!
Here are a few update pictures.

I built a little dolly for the car. I have such limited space I need to move the car around. Started cutting the floor out and found some bad spots on the inner rockers. I started replacing those as well. Coated the outer rockers with Eastwood product to keep them decent.
Check out the previous owners handy work.
No idea. The guy was a Chevy guy if that says anything. This car was smoked in the quarter and lock pillar at some point. The inner is pushed in a bit so I'm guessing he cut it open to get access to the damage or something. The entire car has been a cobbled mess. But I've been doing body work for a living for over 20 years so I'll get it back to factory!

67 Dart those lower rocker clips don't damage them when removing as they are not obtainable new.
I see your favorite spot weld tool on the floor. lol
I bet I've drilled less than 50 spot welds my entire life. I started out using the 3m thick 1991 wheel to grind them thin then separated with my air hammer. Then the belt sanders came out so I switched to that for the most part. Obviously when you need to save a panel drilling is necessary. I like to work smart not hard. Still working on being smart hahaha
We seem to suffer from that same malady. lol
Monday night update. I got a little garage time on Pig Pen today. I fitted up the seat supports and welded them in. Then started cutting out the driver side inner. My goal is to have the floor done by this weekend.
Well Pig Pen is getting closer to the floor being done. Driver side inner rocker is ready to burn in.

I just installed a new torsion bar crossmember in my B body and wondered how those thin inner rockers are suppose to be the support? Must not take a lot of flexing at that spot?

They are actually quite thick guage metal. One thing I can say I've liked about amd sheet metal is it is very heavy!
Well the floor is all finished up. Welded seam sealed and ready to finish up. I used to coating on the firewall to help prevent rust in the future. I'm going to spray in inside with a rubberized coating maybe a bed liner or something. Then eventually carpet.
And now on to the engine bay!
Another update on Pig Pen. The boys and I decided to go pick up a new heart for the Dart. Took a nice road trip and then decided to tear it down. Off to the machine shop soon.

I had to take most of the summer and fall off of the car because I bought a new property and shop. The shop needed some serious help due to mice in the walls. I have one side done, and am taking the rest of winter off to work on the car.

I started up on the engine bay. Cut out the driver side apron last winter, and finally took it outside and blasted it. I got it cleaned up good and sprayed some self etch for now. The driver apron is done. The small filler panel from the apron to firewall from amd was horrible. It was basically 2 inches too short.

Here I opened up the radiator support for a bigger 26 inch radiator. I hand flanged the edge to make it look stock. Also cut out the trashed lower radiator support.

And tonight I cut out the passenger side apron. I will blast this weekend.

Oh Pig Pen! What did they do to you?!
Anyhow, passenger side apron is ready to weld in after I blast and coat the frame rail.
I need to replace the inner quarter so I decided to start hacking out some butcher work. It's kinda funny how much time someone put into attempting to repair this.... seriously some people should not do body work.
