SlantedDart, your car sounds familiar.
I had a UU1 1968 Dart 2 door "seadaaan" back in 1974. It was almost bare bones, auto, PS, AM radio were the only options.
My grandmother bought it brand new in July 68, but pretty much stopped driving the next year due to failing health.
My father commandeered it from her in 1972. Then I bought it from him in 1974 for $400
The car was still spotless when I got it.
I traded it in on a 1976 Pontiac Lemans Sport thinking at that time that I needed a cooler car to drive the girls home in from the bars.
That was the last year for that body style in the Dart model.
It is another car from the past that I still wish I had today....
