1985 318 LA $100
1984 318 with the 163 heads are open chamber heads.
1985 is supposed to have the 302, or 646, or 714, are all the same closed chambered head.
Someone may have put the '84 163 open chamber heads on the 85 318, hense going back to a flat tappet cam vs the stock roller cam in '85.
Someone has probably been into that engine before. Guessing the OP has a carberated 2 or 4 bbl intake that came on the engine when he got it.
