Trick Flow small block heads

Does anyone know if the oil drain backs are going to cause any oil retention issues in the heads? They look fairly small. I suppose maybe they shouldn't. The total area of them is much larger than the oil feed and any leaks up there.

In terms of a tubed block. Do the lifters rely more on splash oiling from the cam or drain back from the heads?
