The problem is that you have a stick shift car or i should say you have a clutch! I'm not bashing a stick, or your driveing skills! Lets get that out of the way first!
The plain and simple Fact, it that a standard drag slick can scratch out of the hole, and if set up right will bite and Gooo.
A drag radial can hoook just as well as a standard no radial drag slick (Got to be true! I heard it on the internet!!!!)BUT, It Must Dead Hook. And that's the Last thing you want out of Stick Shift car. You want the clutch to slip a little, you want the tire to slip a little........Then nothing brakes and it don't bog.
On the street, Much Less traction, and much harder, to dead hook.
