The muscle loss is the bad part. Finally broke 200(198) But I can see an older mans bicep, the skin being "not as tight." 39 pounds leaving your frame will do it.
I completely understand loose skin...try seeing what you look like after losing 76 lbs!
Honestly though, my weight loss has been slow enough that the loose skin isn’t as bad as I thought it might be. Most of what is loose still has a substantial layer of fat under it making it sag. In places like my neck, forearms and lower legs it has been tightening up quite well and is pretty much like I had never had the extra weight at all.
Like everything else on this journey, shrinking the skin is just a matter of time and perseverance.
I figured by now that my belly skin would be hanging at my knees...but it isn’t.
It is still loose and sagging, but it is tightening up as I go and is now a good 8” above where it was before I started.
