This car is not a restoration, but it is a project I have been working on since 2007. I dropped a stroked 440 in it and have been driving it since 2008. I ran it in drags for about 2 to 3 years just after I got it running. But I have recently give up the drags and have been morphing it into a street or highway cruiser. Things like a 2.70 rear axle gear, a stock torque converter, vacuum advance distributor and so forth.

My current quest with the car is to make it as smooth and quiet as I can get it. The car has some wind noise around the vent windows and I would like to replace the vent window weather strip seals. But it seems that re-pops are only made for the hard top and convertible models, not for the sedans.

This brings me to a question I would like to ask. Has anyone seen any re-pops for sale anywhere or had this same problem and figured how to adapt something else to fit? I see the ma2464 and the wr2407 (for hard tops) for sale in many places. Has anyone ever adapted one of these to fit a sedan?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Roger

Years ago I got the stuff from a place I believe called metro...had to wait 6 months before it showed up

Here is some information I left out the original post.
The original Chrysler weatherstrip part number for the 2 door and 4 door sedans is 2663472-3. Part number for hard tops, convertibles, and coupes is 2663474-5. This seems to be the only one that re-pops are available.
