where do you see an ls motor in my car?

I started reading this thread, honestly I was really hoping to see the Ls in your car! You would have given some guys heart attacks all the way to the end of the track.

I do also love the final engine choice. Your build is super cool, can't wait to see some videos of it running down the track.

you should of seen the 250+ pages in under 24hrs on yellow bullet.hahaha. i think 1 or 2 guys offed themselves it was mentally crippling for them to see it. i probably laughed for 2 months.
however i thrive on being different than everybody else the best i can. ls swaps are fing everywhere and was ramping up back then. glad i didnt use one but wishing id had stuck with the 540 gen2 hemi instead at this point.

slowed the completion down a bit. go over everything carefully since racing is over for the year. im also broke as sbit at this point and those little things have added up to thousands of unexpecteds in cost. so brakes on for now. but it is damn close.

Full TNT and Street Car Race Friday, October 11th at Cordova International Raceway. Saturday the 12th is also the River Redemption small tire Series. Sunday the 13th is Vicary Day private track rental. The track is always on kill for Eric’s event. It’s a full weekend of racing!

job change, bills getting back on track the next week or 2 and then gonna finish the car. hopefully by months end or into december. just updating yall how its going down now.

Take care of yourself and family. Prority number one. Car will get done when it gets done. Looking forward to progress when you can make it.

changed holley dashes out and went with the pro dash. as i have a hp ecu with limited i/o's. this new 6.85" dash has 13 inputs and 4 outputs to add to the hp ecu as useful datalogging items. was that or spend a few grand on a dominator ecu. right now im trying to scroung funds enough as it is.
also ran my plug wires to their coils mounted where motor mounts would be.

still need to deal with the water lines to the radiator and then seal the plate up. the threads are jacked so i have to get a giant tap to fix that first. get the new dash in and wired up. boost control installed and setup. driveshaft and windows installed, chute handle n cable. extend the coil harness, other odds n ends. catch can and clean everything up afterwards. gotten dusty after all this time. list is pretty small now. maybe 20 or so small things that take time of course. thats about it.

First time I've seen this thread, that's a really cool build you've got going there and hope to see you finish it through. Have Turbo plans myself for a 65' Cuda after I complete a 69' where i'm buried in Cubic $$$.

Keep it up! looking great! Can't wait for some video of this monster!

thanks guys. i just need time to work on it. unfortunately febuary is always difficult for me. if i can get a solid 2 days on it it would be about ready to fire.

creeping closer and closer.. got the water cross over done and upper feed as well. just gotta get it on the lift and run the lines to and from radiator.

tomorrow is the day or friday. its officially damn near finished. primed engine last night. dash is done. i think rodneys wired up the fans and pumps switches today. installed new dash panel and tps plug pins finally showed up today. motor turns over good. have to prime cable drive to check for leaks tomorrow night as well. thats bout it. install bumper n grill after fireup. ill post a idle vid if i get it to do such a thing. lol

I took some heat for some of the modifications I made on my 68 Barracuda Notch, understandably so. I did stay in the Mopar family though. As far as the LS in your Dart, yeah I'd love to see you go with a Mopar lung yet on the other hand, part of Hot Rodding is making the car your own. My heart wants to throw a stone but logic won't let me.
Good luck with your build

Are you serous??!!!! It's a ******* gen 3 hemi!!!!

I'm far from irritated. Takes a little more than that. Just moving a point across. Lately, I've been noticing that people have been making presumptions about a given topic and the answer is given directly in the thread. Don't want to waste all your precious time reading through someone's hard work and hard spent money, don't make any frickin comments. Get off the website. Mods, delete as necessary to not clutter up Turbo's thread. Thank you.

all good fellas. we all just need to relax some and enjoy life while we can. nothing but pain comes from this all both mental and physical. i want you all to feel blessed and serenity in mind and hearts. love all ya rich n small, short or tall, little or fat, white or black, but most of all you all get along let the little things be gone.

anywho...
primed the fuel lines with fuel. no leaks. currently has 5gal of e85 in the tank n lines. got the cablr all secured and radiator back under the trunk n mounted and secured. all the switches for the fans n water pumps. i really got excited tonight for the first time in many years.

this is a long time coming for sure. gotta track a trans dipstick down and 90mm tb gasket tomorrow. see if we cant get it to make some noise. WOOOWHOOOOOO
