Yes agree the old lazy 360 lobes are a dinosaur. Was thinking of closer to the roller 360 grind on the LSA of 117 to minimize overlap (but not quite as extreme as that) and similar lifts to most 360 stock cams but that's where the similarities ended. Those stock cam profiles are more for a reference point to show what the factory ran and met emission standards at the time.
I suggested more intake than exhaust lift, single pattern duration in the 252-256 range but a on a custom grind with a faster lobe like the Jones motor home cam. Fast enough lobes for improved performance, but not so fast as to make for a noisy or unreliable valvetrain.
