I dont think husqvarna makes their own, and deere certainly does not. The larger ones are still deere,but the riding mowers are mtd. Modern Tool and Die ...
It just depend what you read. I just read an article that said al the JD models are made in the US with world sourced components. The D series (cheap line) is made in a John Deere plant in Greenville Tennessee and that those models are the same as what the JD dealers sell. The new E series is also built in Greenville. The X series is made in Horicon Wisconsin. I can't remember the progression into the Yanmar built mini's. Those are the ones with the huge decks, pto, loaders and the like. I could look it up but I have supper to fix. LOL
