Hi, does anyone know what the cam journal sizes are for #1-5 and which is front? Machine shop needs size information for bearing install.

I found this on Crowers site:

Journal 1 = 1.998", 2 = 1.982", 3 = 1.967", 4 = 1.951", 5 = 1.561"

Thanks!

Ha, after I stepped away I see it, largest in front, to smallest in back. Done, Thanks!

They are obviously sb chevy guys, cam bearings can be put in wrong order in them.

A lot of chevy guys cannot grasp the common sense way that sb mopars go together.

I paid a cheby guy to assemble a 360 for me. (claimed to have build sb mopar also) Rocker arms rub the valve springs. He smashed the intake down on top of the lifter valley baffle bending the hold downs and baffle.

Grab your motor and run.

Also, if you do not "Grab your motor and RUN!" You better make sure they know that the oil holes Have to line up to get oil to the rockers!!!

I also must mention, that if you shop around, cam bearing tools are not that expensive...

If your machine shop needs that information, I'd go get my block & find another machine shop. It sounds like they have no clue as to what they are doing.

That's what 7 of 11 post that says to change shops. We're trying to save you some future grief. But it's your motor and money.
