Radio still works. I'm going to try to get a better light on it today or tommorrow.
Maybe just insulation over the metal shell?

I would either replace it or do nothing. Covering it will only trap heat and possibly make it worse. My point was that the crack allows 'gas' to leak out vs blow it apart.
I 'leaked' this morning, and I'm OK. :D
