Stop in for a cup of coffee

It was my impression always that the wood ones wouldn't work for cutting metal due to their design limitations. Which explains why the ones designed for metal are much more expensive. If the wood ones worked well by just changing the blade, wouldn't people just by the cheap wood ones? Don't get me wrong, it would likely work fine for sheet for a while, but eventually you will find the weakness in the system.
Then I guess I have to take my metal cutting blade off? Has anyone turned their horizontal saw vertical to cut out a special piece? Hmmm....And most low level saws do not have the liquid to cool while cutting.

To sum it up. I have used mine to cut LOTS of metal but it is hard to cut bar stock into pieces...that's for sure.
