I actually street drove it all the time. Used to drive kit back and forth to work and street raced it on the weekends. And yes drag raced it. I sold it in 88. I've got a couple of darts and barracuda's. 2 early darts and a 69 factory 383 4 speed car that was tubed when I got it. Other than the rear frame rail and tubes and roll bar it's stock. Got a hemi for it but still confused to make it a street car or a dedicated race car. But I' m not leaning to the race car right now as it's still all steel (- hood) and straight and painted but apart.
