Just went for about a 30-40 minute drive. The car starts right up with the new distributer coil but it still does the same constant spart when ignition key first gets turned on but pulses when cranking.. on the drive I was stopping to adjust the kick down linkage little by little. Closest I got was under normal throttle driving was 1-2 shift at about 20mph and 2-3 shift at 30mph.
1-2 shift really isn't that hard of a shift either. Maybe because I'm not giving it enough throttle?
My 2-3 shift feels like it has ever so slightly of a delay though. Where its kind of revving a little before actually kicking into gear.
I'll have to play with it just a little more. The line has this much slack when pulled tight and having the best shift. I tried moving the adjusting knob out for more slack using the "pull cable tight and throttle all the way open" but i didn't like the shift and 2-3 felt like it was spinning up a little more without shifting and 1-2 shift was a little delayed as well. This adjusting the lokar sucks lol..
I'm going to drain a little water/coolant out tomorrow and add a little more coolant since its mostly water right now.
