I guess I never realized they used 66 barracudas

Interesting history lesson here.

I originally picked up the incomplete model kit, expecting a 67. Then I was going to remove the engine and kit bash it into a regular 67 barracuda.
Then i open the box at home and BAM it's a 66.

Still might make a regular barracuda because I don't think a model kit is available for a 66 barracuda??

OR

Find the missing pieces and complete it as it came in the kit.
Hi Ranigirl,

MPC did offer a 67 fastback back in the late 60s early 70s, and then later on morphed it into a 69 fastback. Periodically the built up 67 fastback kits show up.

I have seen a resin cast coupe body and interior tub with rear seat and rear window to build a notchback coupe. Your supposed to use the fastback kit for the rest.

Keep on trolling evilbay, the 67 fastback kits show up periodically. I bet being that this is MPC we're talking about, that the 66 kit papb had all the parts for "stock", "custom," or Hemi under glass". I had the old Lindberg dodge lil red wagon A100 wheelstander kit. You coulda built it stock or as the wheel stander kit. I eventually had 2 of them. One stock, one as the lil red wagon
