69 Barracuda fender emblem on 340?

Some could possibly be the sport package option. Since I have no fender tag or build sheet, I do not know if it had the Formula S package or not (car was stolen, stripped, then further stripped by guy who bought it at police auction). Told me he had the fender tag, but he never came through with it.
However, mine is a factory P code (yes dash vin and radiator support match, still having trouble with trunk lip), built in early Aug. '68. I do know mine came with the Sport Package, the main give away being the 9 holes on each side rocker's for the attaching clips. Those rocker moldings and especially the clips are more unobtanium parts. I would love to know if mine was a Formula S with a Sport Package, or just the sport package (though other things I have found on it leads me to believe it was a Formula S).
I also wonder if a Formula S had a sport package, could possibly the 340 call out in the stripe be for the Formula S and the 340-S fender emblem be for the sport package.
I've never been able to find out for sure.
