I recently picked up a 67 Dart plain jane 2 door post. 225/6, auto, am radio, no other options as far as I can tell. I have a few questions about the quirky 67 only stuff.

1. The windshield is broken and the 67 only trim is missing/deteriorated beyond salvage. Gasket is so hard I'm sure it will be destroyed on removal. What windshield/trim can I use? I'm thinking 68-76 sedan. Will 4 door or 2 door hardtop stuff interchange?

2. Is the rear window trim unique also? Is the 2 door sedan back glass the same as the 4 door or hardtop? Is a replacement gasket available?

3. Driver fender is toast. Will a 68-69 unit work directly (I'm aware the marker light will need to be filled)? I've heard there may be some issue with the headlight position...

Any other oddities that may rear their heads?

2dr Hardtop and sedan glass is different as is the gaskets and trim. 4dr stuff will work. Head light bucket position is different. I have 67 fenders on my 69 and the headlight buckets were changed. I used the 69 grill but it wasn’t a exact fit.

I guess I need to yank the fender off and see if I can salvage the headlight bucket portion. I have had luck finding lots of 69 fenders and a few 68's but no 67's yet...

Agree with Roy. Idler arm is also 1 year only and expensive.

Almost one just like it had I not waited half the day to pull the trigger, 4spd 273 car.

Best of luck if you aren't familiar, to the 67 cars that is .. lol

Not Darts in particular but... Instead of counting doors, its simpler to go by post sedan or no post coupe. The 2 door post cars have the same taller windshield and related parts as the 4 door post cars. The no post coupe stands alone. Some of the stainless reveal moldings from a post sedan can work on a coupe. Cut 1.5 inches off the raw end of a-pillar sticks for example.

I have a 74? up fender on my 67(has crush dimples and the welded on bracket on the leading edge of the fender is different). But other than the mounting hole locations for the headlight bezel everything fits correctly. If you can find a 67 I would go for that just for simplicity.

I would like to find a 67 but no luck so far...
