Alot more work to take paint off, then put it on.
Summits gallon of 2K primer and qt of activater gives you 5 qts of sprayable material.
That is not much more money than the cheap oil based paint.

What's on it now has to be taken off. It was painted with with oil based tractor paint in 2003. Its gonna be striped and spi epoxy primered body work spi 2k motobase in burnt orange then spi universal clear.
 
Got a dash pad man I love it it looks great! Gotta decide on what color to dye it. I'm thinking a dark brown would looks really good with the copper dash.

Making progress on the suspension. I'm almost there. I gotta put my lca, strut rods, and torsion bars and it's ready to set back in the ground. I got the rearend done but ran out of time and didn't get it put in today. I effed up on the first lca bushing I made the mistake of pressing in the bushing first instead of pressing the pin into the bushing then the bushing in the lca. It was a ***** to get in I had to come up with some good ole redneck ingenuity. I got it in tho the 2nd one when in alot easier.

Got some more work done tonight after work. I gotta pull the strut rods back off I put the damn washer on backwards. I freaking hate moog I hate everything about them their instructions are freaking stupid. Why not just say this side to rubber on both of them? They can only go on one way anyway because of the taper. So why not say put this side towards the rubber and be done. I saw this side front and I thought that ment that was the front like it was supposed to be Facing me! But no i just learned that ment facing the front of the car! That effing stupid! Anyway here's what I got.

Epoxy primer I havent had a chance to spray my base and clear yet because of the weather and I don't have a respirator. Thanks to @69conv I have one on the way tho. I'm gonna take some plastic and cover all the suspension parts up so they dont get sprayed too and remain black lol I got tired of being held up because of paint so I'm moving forward without it!

I like the dash too I just dont know about leaving it red. Lol red pad copper dash white interior and burnt orange body may look a little wonky! Haha
That epoxy primer is Eastwood epoxy I like it! I sprays really nice.

No updates this week I talked to him last Thursday I ran by and dropped my intake off for him to clean. He didnt say much about it we just talked for a little while and I dont want to bug him about a time line so I didnt ask lol I'm assuming no news is good news.

Hopefully it will be on a roller by Monday. If I can find some front tires. I have 2 15s for rollers no such luck with the 14s.
 
Got alot done today. I got the rearend done I still have to run the brake hoses and lines and hook up the ebrake but its done and bolted in. Got the front suspension finished the brakes are hooked up minus the lines. I'm waiting to paint the engine bay before I run my brake lines. Got all the steering components hooked up I left the driver side hand tight so I can take it loose to put the headers in. I got the dash pad painted and put back in the car and sat the steering column in. It turns now. I only lack tires and it will be a roller.

BTW did you ever weld the 8.8 brake line brackets on the diff? Lol.
