You ARE stronger than those damn things!. I quit July 1 1996. I have asthma and was smoking up to 2 or more (especially when drinking) packs a day. I had bought my first house and was determined that nobody would smoke in the house. My wife at the time also smoked, she would have at least 2 or 3 before she got out of bed in the morning, agreed that she was ready to quit too. She had tried many times before but always started again. I had quit a few times before for anywhere from a month to 6 or 7 months, but that time was it. Wife went on the patch for several months, I used it for 3 or 4 days and I was done. Haven't smoked anything for almost 24 years now.
You can do it, it won't be easy, and some days you'll really feel like ****, but in the end it's more than worth it. Don't give up.
