By the way, I am very Proud of the fact that this car was the Centerfold article in the October 2006 issue of MOPAR Action magazine.

Thanks, thats crazy cool. Congrats, I've always wanted to be a centerfold too but didn't have the abody! lol BTW Those other 2 aren't any slouch either.

Here is my 70 Dart Convertible. Should have Paint on it next week. Will post pics as it comes together.

Been looking for, and long distance inspecting 64 Gt verts for a car that doesn't need extensive body work. Drivetrain and electrical I can hold my own with. Found this \6, 4 speed with good paint and upholstery. Also MC and front disc brake upgrade along with a newer rear end. Can hardly sleep waiting for this to come home! And you guys that have the tools and skills to bring anything back from the dead live in a completely different (and higher) universe than I do!!

Beautiful car!

Great looking car, enjoy your ride! I hit that with a stout wire brush and see what it needs from there. You might be in for a pleasant surprise.

After rejecting cars I investigated in CA, MA, CO, KS, and one other state I can't remember, a pleasant surprise would be refreshing!

Thanks all for the comments. I hope to be able to give back to the knowledge pool as I dive deeper into keeping this little beauty rolling.

Here is what I have been working on for the last 1-1/2 years. I have owned it for 25 years. It has been in the family since 1982. Just got it running and driving.

When you get the chance, repaint the engine bay body color....Black is not correct for Mopars.

Yeah, I noticed that other Darts I looked at had the same engine compartment color as the body. I wonder if they did this black when they painted the white car red. I'll look at painting that when I fix / paint the trunk.
