Yeah, I looked at everything out there, and saw various disadvantages (or what I perceived as disadvantages) in all of them. I know a few people who have the Street Lynx setup and are pleased with it; that probably would have been my choice if I had not elected to go the IRS route. I had no intention of straying as far away from the norm as I did, but things kinda snowballed. The Detroit Speed Alumaframe system did help simplify things; we already had C7 Corvette components ready to go in, but decided to use the Alumaframe setup for an early Mustang, and built the frame rails with the appropriate spacing to accommodate that.
