They were not. I drilled and tapped them to 3/8” NPT. The ID of the -8 AN and 3/8” NPT are the same so I felt no need to go to 1/2”NPT. Plus the smaller the hole in the intake, the less chance of cracking the aluminum when you tighten the fitting.
