Strut rod question :
67 Barracuda
I just learned I have the rod that uses the one piece bushing no sleeve I mistaken put on the two piece. any mopar guy got any secrets of get this to tighten up without just squishing the rubber out. Just pulled front bushing rear is in and intact. I really do not want to pull torsion bars and LCA again

Check the torque specs. I know on my 72, the strut rod bushing torque specs are, at the bushing end is 45 ft lbs and at the control arm end is 105 ft lbs but check the specs for your year first.
 
Just how tight you tighen this front nut hard to get a torque wrench in area
 
Looks like you have a mismatch on those strut rods. Both sides should have the same dimensions and threads. One of yours is wrong for the car.
