What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

The fit is great...once you get them in. This is my first set of headers, I installed them the first time last summer and yes, lots of cussing. But I’m sure if you’ve done it before it would be easier.

The steering linkage needs to come apart, engine needs to be raised, starter removed, and the oil filter removed. When I first installed them, I didn’t think about tie rod clearance, so the passenger side ended up rubbing quite a bit.

When I dropped the engine in this time, I made some 5/16” spacers for the engine mounts. Now the headers clear the tie rod ends nicely. I also ended up melting the speedo cable, so I’m wrapping them in certain places and relocating the cable where I can.

Being up on a lift should give me an advantage. TTI's, dougs, it's a bloodbath I tell ya lol... The only set of headers I have ever been around that fit like a glove were Lemons on a Corvette. Custom built from them just asking basic measurements. They are some bad dudes...
