What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?
Got the transmission governor cleaned and reinstalled. Buttoned everything back up and took it for a drive to see if my efforts on the valve body and governor got the rebuilt trans upshifting.
It works!!!!!!!!!!!!! First time I've driven it with the new 5.9 and rebuilt transmission with a 9.5" converter (6 months!). Also had the power steering gear rebuilt to "sport" mode by steer and gear.
It runs strong!! Very happy with it. I'll post a video in a day or two but here's a pic of the engine.
And one getting ready to reassmble the transmission a few days ago.
