273 stock , what mufflers for duals ?
Ok, here is a bit of muffler testing experience. The first image is a cutaway of a 3" in and out, 14" long case XLERATOR. It is a very aggressive sounding muffler on a big engined car. Note it has fiberglass material, is straight through, and has stainless steel wrapping the center tube. As you look into it, you see a partially perforated core. In other words, part of the tube is basically a straight pipe leaving nowhere for the sound to go but out.
