New! And some header questions..

There is something similar is some circle track stuff. It’s still two separate 4-1 headers but they go over the transom. First, they are a giant PITA to fit and work around. Second, the primaries are so long it moves peak torque lower than it should be.

Also, to get it all done with an 8-1 design not only will the primaries be way too long, they also have to be too small. Engine bay real estate is always at a premium, so more tubes fighting for the same space makes for poor header performance.

I’m going to google the 8-1 thing and look at what is going on. My best metric for stuff like this is I look at class cars with a fairly unlimited budget and see what they are doing. I’ve never seen that arraignment on anything, drag, circle, dirt, pavement...whatever. Ever.

So I’m interested for sure.
